Attorney
The Warren County Attorney is The Chief Law Enforcement Officer, Chief Criminal Prosecutor and The Lawyer for Warren County government.

Auditor
The County Auditor's office is ready to assist you with election information and voter registration, real estate transfers and property splits, and much more.

Board of Supervisors
The Board of Supervisors is the executive and legislative branch of county government. The three members of the Board of Supervisors are elected at large and serve overlapping 4-year terms.

County Conservation Board

Emergency Management
The Emergency Management Agency (EMA) coordinates emergency management programming for all residents and communities in Warren County, Iowa. The EMA addresses all risks that threaten the health, safety, and welfare of the community, including natural disasters, man-made or technological incidents, and civil actions.

Engineering & Secondary Road
The Warren County Engineer and Secondary Road Department provide services to the rural roadways within the County under the jurisdiction of Warren County.

Environmental Health
Warren County Environmental Health is an agency of the Warren County Board of Health. Its mission is to promote, protect and ensure the health and well being of the citizens of Warren County and to provide equitable, economical service. The department was founded in 1973 and is governed by the Board of Health and the Warren County Board of Supervisors. Our service area encompasses the entire county including rural and non-rural properties.

Geographic Information Systems
The Warren County Geographic Information Systems (GIS) provides support to all Warren County departments. The goal of Warren County GIS is to help increase the efficiency and productivity of Warren County through the implementation of GIS applications and technology.

General Assistance
Warren County General Assistance provides assistance to Warren County residents who meet county guidelines.

Health Services
Warren County Health Services is a Public Health Agency consisting of a dedicated staff of 8 Registered Nurses, Home Care Aides and Support Staff.  We provide in home health care, disease prevention and health education to residents of Warren County. Our mission is to promote health and wellness to all individuals, of all ages, of Warren County.

Information Technology (IT)
The Information Technology (IT) department is responsible for the security, accessibility and support of Warren County’s computer systems and networks.   It is our job to make sure other county departments have the resources needed to better serve you. 

Mental Health
Warren County Mental Health Services is the county agency responsible for managing services for people with mental retardation, mental illness, or developmental disabilities. This is done through the Central Point of Coordination office.

Recorder
The Warren County Recorder's office handles real estate records, birth, death and marriage records, as well as boat, snowmobile and all terrain vehicle registrations and titles.  In addition, the office sells hunting, fishing and trapping licenses, including deer and turkey tags.

Treasurer
The Warren County Treasurer provides the following services:

  • collects property tax and special assessments for all tax levying and tax certifying entities of the county.
  • administers the Iowa Property Tax Credit Program.
  • conducts the annual tax sale for the collection of delinquent taxes.
  • processes vehicle transactions; issues titles, registration renewals, and junking certificates.
  • collects road use tax .
  • handles financial administration, banking services, cash management and investments for the county.
  • receives all money payable to the county.
  • processes driver licenses.

Veteran Affairs
Warren County's VA-certified staff helps eligible veterans apply for compensation and pension programs to assist veterans and their dependents. 

The staff also assists with:
-Obtaining military records and awards.
-Distributing grave markers and flag holders for Warren County.
-Networking with Veteran's Administration Hospitals.
-Networking with other VA facilities and social service agencies.

The veteran must have been discharged under honorable conditions and have served 90 days or more of Federal active duty service.
