In January, 2000, the State of Iowa Department of Transportation directed the County Treasurers, as one of their agents to process state issued driver's licenses and collect appropriate fees according to the Code of Iowa. Service in driver's license issuance increased from one day per week to five days per week. The Warren County Treasurer's Office administers testing for all driver's licenses, drive tests, issuances and renewals. We also administer CDL and motorcycle drive tests by appointment only.
